EvolveLAB JOINS CHAOS TEAM

We are thrilled to announce that EvolveLAB has joined Chaos, a global leader in visualization and design technology. This milestone marks an exciting new chapter for our team, our customers, and the AEC industry as a whole. By combining forces with Chaos, we are accelerating our mission to redefine architectural design through AI, generative workflows, and automation.

A Legacy of Innovation

Since our founding in 2015, EvolveLAB has been at the forefront of AI-driven design tools. We pioneered the integration of generative AI into architectural design, allowing designers to blend imaginative prompts with architecture in ways never before possible. Our flagship technology revolutionized AI-design, seamlessly integrating with industry-standard tools like SketchUp, Revit, and Rhino. Over the years, we expanded our suite to include:

  • Veras - AI ideation and visualization

  • Glyph – Automating and standardizing documentation processes

  • Morphis – Enabling real-time generative design

  • Helix – Enhancing interoperability between BIM platforms

Störmer Murphy and Partners

“Over a year ago, we began exploring AI tools to speed up our workflows and were excited to discover Veras, a solution specifically designed for AEC that seamlessly integrates with host platforms,” explains Hanns-Jochen Weyland of Störmer Murphy and Partners, an award-winning architectural practice based in Hamburg, Germany. “Veras is now our go-to for initial ideation before transitioning to renderings in Enscape. This powerful combination accelerates concept development and ensures reliable outcomes.”

Cuningham

“At Cuningham, we integrated EvolveLAB’s Veras and Glyph alongside Chaos’ Enscape to enhance our design process,” said Joseph Bertucci, Senior Project Design Technologist of Cuningham, an integrated design firm with offices across the United States. “Using both Enscape and Veras allows us to visualize, iterate, and explore design concepts in real-time while leveraging AI-driven enhancements for rapid refinement. Meanwhile, Glyph has been a game-changer for auto-documentation, enabling us to efficiently generate views and drawing sets, saving valuable time in project setup. These tools collectively streamline our workflows, boosting efficiency, precision, and creativity.”

Chaos has long been a trusted name in the AEC, VFX, and product visualization industries, providing cutting-edge tools like V-Ray, Enscape, Corona, Envision, and Vantage. Their comprehensive ecosystem bridges concept ideation, real-time visualization, photorealistic rendering, and AI-driven enhancements. By integrating EvolveLAB’s suite into this powerful platform, we are creating an end-to-end workflow that create efficiencies and enhances every stage of the design process.

“Chaos is known throughout this industry as a designer-centric company, which is a must for anyone we work with,” said Bill Allen, CEO of EvolveLAB. “By joining forces, we can fast-track our AI developments while adding an important new component to Chaos’ immersive design hub, helping designers do even more in one place. "With EvolveLAB now part of Chaos, the company solidifies its position as the go-to platform for architects, designers and VFX artists looking to seamlessly transform imagination into reality," said Stephen Sieber, Chief Executive Officer at Chaos. "EvolveLAB's tools have already been embraced by the community for their thoughtful designs and ability to streamline cumbersome processes. Together we'll conitnue to develop these tools, creating even better ways to ideate, enhance and generate custom designs"

The Future of AI-Powered Design

Even before this acquisition, many architects and designers were already leveraging the synergy between EvolveLAB and Chaos tools. With Veras and Enscape, designers would generate real time renders with Enscape and post-produce them with Veras. Firms like Störmer Murphy and Partners and Cuningham have praised this powerful combination for its ability to accelerate concept development and enhance presentation quality.

Going forward, our teams will work closely to integrate and enhance our software offerings, ensuring that designers and engineers continue to benefit from the latest advancements in AI and computational design. Our products will remain available to customers, and our leadership—including Bill Allen as Director of Product Management and Ben Guler as Director of Software Development—will continue driving innovation within Chaos.

What’s Next?

For our customers, this acquisition means more resources, faster developments, and deeper integrations that will supercharge your design workflows. As part of Chaos, we are committed to expanding our AI capabilities, refining our tools, and delivering seamless experiences that empower architects, engineers, and designers to push creative boundaries. Thank you to our incredible community for your support and trust. We look forward to continuing this journey together as part of the Chaos family.
